The first thing anyone talks about or thinks about when they have been training is the biceps. Let’s face it this is the show me your stuff muscle. It is also the most written about muscle in bodybuilding history. Is there an answer to bigger arms, YES and again science is that answer.
I mean there are so many different bicep exercises, how can anyone ever get an understanding of which ones are the right ones. With all the possibilities you would think the biceps were the size of a Humvee there are so many exercises you can do for them.
When I sat down to write this article I had to give some serious thought on how to approach this article. So I decided to do the article the same way I teach my students, understand what the muscle does, and what are the best exercises for this. Then find what exercises are best for you or a variation that works for your body type.
The first thing you have to do is set aside all the information and exercises you have known in the past and let us look at this like you are new to the bodybuilding world. Start thinking back to the basics, and to do that you have to have a basic understanding of how the arm does a curl and how the biceps work.
